Baby pajamas, teach babies to sleep, footie pajamas Having a baby that sleeps through the night is every parents dream.   But where do you begin??  There is so much information out there about teaching your baby to sleep.  There are countless books, articles on the internet, and blogs but which one should you try first?  All I can say, as a mother of two, start with the one that feels right for you and your family. Or combine them all together to make a unique sleep solution for your family.

A great article to take a look at is 26 Baby Sleep Solutions.   I found the article on parenting.com.    The article is featured like an alphabet book.   A sleep solution for every letter in the alphabet!   Some of my favorites are “B is for Bathtime”:  it talks about how warm water combined with loving strokes with the washcloth can relax just about anyone.  This was an important part of our family bedtime routine.   My youngest son is 4 1/2 years old and knows that as soon as I say, “it’s bath time”, he only has a short time before lights out.

I think my favorite one is “J is for Jammies”: make sure your child has comfortable pajamas.   Pajamas that are 100% cotton are great and should fit snug.  Be sure to check out all of our great 100% cotton pajamas at www.mybabypajamas.com.   Again, my youngest son gets excited about bed when he has “Cool” pajamas to sleep in.  He loves his LazyOne Wide Awake Short pajamas because he’s into alligators.

Another favorite is,”R is for Routines”:  Consistency is key.  Enough said!  Sticking to a routine can be hard especially if you have more than one child but it’s well worth the outcome.   A good nights sleep for you and your baby!
