As many of you know or maybe don’t know, Mybabypajamas.com is a MOM owned business. Like most Mom owned businesses, we are on a budget when it comes to marketing and advertising. Plus, not only do we run our business but we have kids, husband, and the house to take care of and clean. Well, Abbey Fatica has made it easier for Moms who own their own business. She has started Livingmymoment.com to help Mom owned businesses, like Mybabypajamas.com. to advertise our businesses and help get the word out. Here is a little about Abbey and her website Livingmymoment:
My name is Abbey Fatica and of course I am a MoM! I live in Columbus, Ohio with my husband, John -who’s helping me with the mechanics of all this website stuff-, our 1 year old daughter, Luci -the inspiration for the site- and our 5 year old sheltie, Shelly -she could be Marley’s (from the movie Marley and Me) twin. Needless to say, our house is always on the brink of a frenzy.
As a Stay at Home Mom or SAHM to those of you savvy in acronyms, I have watched in the past year as many people are losing their jobs, their houses and their pride. I wanted to be able to do my part as a citizen to help those who have one of the hardest jobs, MoMs. Specifically, I wanted to be able to help those MoMs who run their own business or make their own products. These types of businesses are usually hit the hardest when the economy is bad and I don’t want to see all of their efforts go to waste.
My idea for this website is to give these MoMs some free advertising and to be an advocate for those MoMs earning a living by being their own boss and by keeping up with the demands of Motherhood. I will also have a blog that will give my thoughts on living in our country today and how my family is surviving the downward turn that our economy has taken and the sacrifices that this mom has to make.
Please check out Abbey’s blog about My Baby Pajamas and all the other great Mom owned businesses. Us Moms need to stick together! Thanks Abbey!
